Me and Ryan took Jhosue to CircusCircus yesterday. He was playing the 'moat' game, where you get 4 pingpong balls and have to throw it into one of the floating bowls. First, he got a clear one and that gave him 3 more balls. Then, with 3 more balls left he got the ball in a yellow bowl and that won him a medium prize, which was a medium sized hanging monkey! He was soo excited when he saw his prize, kinda like, he couldn't believe that he won it all on his own. He was happy. So was I. Then we went the arcade and him and Ryan went to play this taxi game that he loves. I went to try and win tickets for him. Last time I won playing that Monopoly ticket game where I won 600 tickets. So here I am again. I have $5 in quarters and I'm dropping 2 quarters at a time, and in the middle of the stack; just as I knew I would, I won the middle jackpot of 350 tickets. All in all my ticket winnings were about 500 tickets-for $5! I think I did pretty good! So, after we picked up some stuff at the redemption center, Jhosue wanted to go home, of course! We spent a good $20 at CircusCircus in about 30 minutes, including the time we had to find a parking spot.

When we got home it rained.

Just like today.

Went to the Adult Superstore and bought these x-rated fortune cookies. I haven't eaten any but this is what it says on the box, and it got me cracking up!

Don't you hate the feeling you get when you're about to return a rent-a-car, you just filled up the gas tank, and you have to drive farther than expected? Then when you get to the rent-a-car place, it's not that full anymore, and the clerks see this. Then you're just wishing they'll let it go, or they'll charge you $5 a gallon for gas?

And then there's the times when they give you your rent-a-car and tell you, you need to return it with the same amount of gas that's in it when you got it. So, they put the marking on the paper that they gave you the car with a half gallon of gas, but when you look at it it's a little less than half?

I don't know I'm just being obsessive right now.

I am so sick of staring in front of a computer right now. But here I am torturing myself, even I just pulled an 11 hour shift to make up for the hours I lost yesterday when I left early from work to go to an interview. God, I hope I get hired. I'm feeling pretty negative-not that the interview went bad. Wayne sure seemed like I was 'the one'. But if he was so sure that I was 'the one', then why did he tell me he has to interview more people, and that I have to wait till Thursday for his decision? I probably didn't get it. I wanted that gig, too- office manager for a publishing company. Dammit, I really want that job! But what if I don't get it? What if I'm not good enough? He'll probably interview someone better and hire them instead. 'sigh'

I was working on a my book, that I have long said I have been working on. It consists of themed poems about heartbreak. Hmmm...I emailed it from the laptop in the bedroom to the pc in the living room. Then I deleted it from the laptop thinking it's in my email now, (stupid me!) opened up my email on the pc and it errored. AARRGGHHH!!! Now I have to retype the poems I chose for my compilation. I'm far from done, I try to take my digital camera with me at all times so I can find images for my work; but it's too hot. So, I can't keep it the car. And at my job right now, I am not allowed to bring any electronic devices inside the office. I already hide my phone in my little purse and I don't think I can pull off a camera in my small bag. Did I mention security checks our bags everytime we pass by the door? And I don't mean to hate cause the security guys, they're all nice to me. But I'm so sure I'm gonna steal a keyboard and stuff it up my ass!
